GATAB (South Antalya Tourism Development and Infrastructure Operation Association) protects Kemer and its environment with a great attention and devotion in terms of cleanness of the seas and living areas with water treatment facilities, solid waste disposal and recycle facility.

It is awarded with Blue Flag in 1993 after meeting the criteria determined by “Blue Flag Campaign” exercised by the Foundation for Environmental Education in Europe (FEEE). All beaches within Kemer and its towns are in accordance with the Blue Flag criteria.
